7th ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL - 2008

THE PLAYS:

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING for grades 1-8.

KING LEAR for grades 8-12.(plus 3 roles open to adults)

CASTING:

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (open to grades 1-8) -

3-5pm, Tuesday, Sept. 2, (school out at noon this day) - Casting Call: play description, sign-up for all roles, parent information, tuition contract, volunteer sign-up

3: 45 - 5pm, Wednesday, Sept. 3,( IF NEEDED) - Back-up casting date (if we don't finish on Tuesday)

KING LEAR (open to grades 8-adult) -

5:30 - 7:30pm, Thursday, Sept. 4 - Casting Call, including all those who already came to Pre-Casting in June:

play description, sign-up for all roles, parent/actor information, tuition contract, volunteer sign-up

5:30 - 7pm, Friday, Sept. 5, (IF NEEDED) - Back-up casting date (if we don't finish on Thursday)

Adult actors: the roles of Lear, the Fool, and Gloucester have been cast. Adults will be considered for the roles of Kent, the Doctor, Old Man, and several other cameo roles.

INTERNS, School Credit, and Community Service -

We have at least one student signed up to be a Costume Intern (Tahoma). We tentatively have a student Lighting Designer (Jordon) and we need a Music Director for Much Ado About Nothing. The school has agreed to offer limited academic credit for high school participants in CSC 2008. Community Service hours are also available. Internship positions with CSC could also come from beyond Lopez High School, including community colleges or colleges, if anyone knows a worthy participant who could benefit from working with the company.

Nov 14-16: Closed Weekend
Nov 17-18: Tech & Dress
Nov 19-22: Performances
Nov 23: Cleanup and Party
